Logitech Principal Material Designer (CMF Design) in Hsinchu, Taiwan

As a Material Designer with a focus on sustainability at our company, you will be a key player in advancing our commitment to designing for a better planet. This position calls for a dynamic individual who can seamlessly blend creative vision with material technologies to advance our efforts towards good designs for the planet.

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
Envision and Inspire : Advocate for new material adoption. Your ability to craft compelling narratives around new sustainable materials will resonate and drive broader understanding and adoption throughout the company.
Collaborative Innovator : Work closely with our design and engineering teams to identify and develop material led ideas. Your role is pivotal in ensuring these solutions are not only environmentally sustainable but also meaningfully unique for Logitech.
Material and manufacturing : Develop an extensive knowledge of material manufacturing processes and the environmental impact of various materials. Partner with our design for sustainability experts to make informed decisions in material selection and taking innovative ideas through to prototype and realisation.
Role location: Preferred in AP and EU
Bachelor's degree and experience in a Design related field (e.g Industrial design, Colour Materials Finishes, Design engineering)
8+ years of Experience in sustainability and material innovation, or similar
A diverse portfolio showcasing:
a range of projects that highlight your thinking process and creative learning journey.
Visual communication skills with the ability to inspire and influence others.
Knowledge and experience with sustainability embedded into the workflow.
Breadth of material iteration and experimentation.
Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.
Demonstrate material led approach to design.

Demonstrate success and accomplishments through collaboration.
