Logitech DACH - Gaming Category and Marketing Manager in Munich, Germany

The Role:

Logitech seeks a Gaming Marketing Manager based in Munich to take charge of the entire marketing strategy and enhance Logitech G's market share, sales, and visibility across key gaming categories in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Your primary duties as Gaming Marketing Manager will be to manage brand events and channel programs, agency collaboration, budget oversight, and close collaboration with internal sales teams. Additionally, you'll be responsible for regional marketing alignment, orchestrating new product launches, and directing digital, influencer, and social media marketing efforts.

You'll join a dedicated team of marketers focused on devising innovative strategies and content to meet the evolving needs of our consumer base and maintain Logitech's leading market position. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of European business objectives, translating them into compelling and actionable marketing plans. This requires expertise in digital marketing, communications, events, sponsorships, and other relevant practices, optimizing the marketing mix for maximum impact.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work closely with Country Managers, Key Account Managers, Channel & Trade Marketing, Corporate Communications, Social Media, Digital, and Analytics teams, as well as external partners. Retail experience is essential for effective category management, retailer/etailer marketing, and enhancing in-store visibility.

Key performance indicators for this role include market share, revenue targets and brand metrics such as awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate is an ambitious, yet humble Team Player dedicated to enhancing the success of Logitech's DACH organization.

  • Execute global and regional strategies & create powerful local marketing plans to achieve commercial success in DACH markets. Create annual plans that are updated quarterly and efficiently communicated to regional and local stakeholders, incl. marketing, sales & finance teams.

  • Collaborate closely with all key account managers and key customers to drive channel-relevant marketing programs.

  • Be the single point of contact for the marketing support of all new product launches.

  • Plan and execute best in class channel marketing programs and events to engage with the gaming community and partners.

  • Guide creative development of our brand and campaign assets that resonate with specific target audiences and meet customer needs.

  • Drive 360-degree omnichannel approach that integrates sponsorship, events, social media, digital, PR, influencers, partnerships and trade marketing programs.

  • Communicate the Logitech story, values, promotions, and partnerships across various channels.

  • Proactively share the results on marketing campaigns, product launches, budgets, digital media KPIs, etc with relevant stakeholders.

  • Manage roster of external agencies (PR, creative, influencers, etc.) and internal resources for the on-time delivery of world class marketing campaigns.

  • Drive coordination and alignment with regional marketing teams and partners.

  • Work with finance, legal and other functional teams to support daily market operations.

Key Qualifications:

For consideration, you bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • Strong understanding of the target audiences: trends, shopper behavior, media consumption patterns, community engagement strategies, etc.

  • Experience execution of innovative marketing programs and events from inception through execution for large global brands.

  • Experience in event management and tradeshows

  • Trade Marketing experience

  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships with the community, partners, influencers and key opinion leaders.

  • 5+ years in marketing, tech, consumer electronics, sports, automotive or consumer goods industry.

  • BA/BS degree.

  • Fluent German & English language skills are a must.

  • Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills.

  • Experience working with and managing external agencies.

  • Ready to lead groups, inspire creativity, and ability to interact with multiple partners.

  • Ability to use quantitative data and metrics to drive strategic decisions and marketing activities.

  • Self-motivated, disciplined and results-oriented
